Hey Dave…I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate the help with the gate supplier we discussed today on the phone.  I know you’re swamped and I wanted to thank you for taking the time– We appreciate it. It dawned on my after we hung up that our relationship now goes back 25 years, and covers lots of projects, including remodels, and new builds.  As you know, the latest remodel was after the recent freeze that ruptured our attic fire extinguisher pipe, and put us out of our home for 6 months. You picked up the phone that day too.  You’ll recall the water was still pouring into the house when I called you, and I wanted a quick commitment for a major job.  You gave it to me and it meant a lot to know that we had Desco in our corner.  Thanks for that, too. I’ll let you know how it goes with the gate.

My wife and I contracted Desco Fine Homes to tear down our existing M-Streets home and build a larger custom home. Desco Fine Homes is an experienced and professional builder. Their diligence, communication, creativity, and attention to detail gave us an overwhelmingly positive building experience. David Goettsche, owner of Desco Fine Homes, built our first custom home in 2000 in Preston Hollow North on Aberdeen, and it was a sensational experience. And what a great experience it was from start to finish. Tony and I had a wonderful experience building our home with David Goettsche with Desco Fine Homes. David’s attention to detail, pride for his work, and artistic ability made our home a very special place we have loved for over 10 years. I couldn’t miss telling you what a truly great experience it was watching you build our new home. As you know there were many builders in the Lakewood area to choose from and I feel very fortunate that we were introduced to you. Your guidance and supervision in building our custom home was exceptional. I really appreciated being able to work so closely with you and to have you guide us through so many decisions. David, you are a very gifted builder with such a focus on details and timelines. I think what stands out the most in my mind when I think back on the journey of building our home is one specific characteristic: You are honest and dependable. When you said something, I never had to worry. You always came through and even after we moved into our new house, we felt so secure in your workmanship and follow up that if there had been a problem, we knew you would be there for us and will be there for us.

The best feeling of all though comes from listening to several of our neighbors who used other builders, complain about their builders lack of communication and follow up after they moved into their homes. The Desco Fine Homes building experience was really a fun and exciting journey and I hope I am fortunate enough to build another home with you and your staff.

I am the second owner of a Desco Fine Homes home built in 1998. I bought my home in 2003, and shortly thereafter, there were some problems that arose. David Goettsche stepped up and treated me as if I was his client, when I really was not. Ever since, he has acted as though he built the house for me.
